OptMsg v1.1.0 Release Notes
Release Date: July 10, 2026
OptMsg 1.1.0 is our biggest update yet. This release introduces powerful subscription management tools, improves inbox reliability across devices, strengthens security, and includes dozens of usability improvements that make everyday email faster and easier.
Better Subscription Management
Managing your OptMsg subscription is now more flexible.
- Save multiple payment methods. Store more than one payment card, choose your default card, and remove cards you no longer use.
- Switch plans anytime. Move between monthly and annual billing during your current subscription. Your existing subscription is updated automatically, and any scheduled plan change is clearly displayed.
- Cancel or reactivate when you choose. Cancel at the end of your current billing period while keeping access for the time you’ve already paid for. You can also reactivate your subscription before it expires.
A More Reliable Inbox
We’ve made several improvements to keep your inbox synchronized and responsive.
- Folders refresh automatically. Open folders now update in the background when new email arrives or messages are moved on another device. Your inbox stays current without interrupting what you’re doing.
- Smarter message handling. If an email you’re reading is moved or deleted from another device, OptMsg lets you know instead of displaying outdated content.
- Faster onboarding. Getting started with the free OptMsg Reader plan is now quicker than ever.
User Experience Improvements
We’ve polished the experience throughout the app.
- Improved dark mode contrast for better readability, including clearer disabled buttons and cleaner interface styling.
- Updating your phone number now returns you directly to your Profile screen after verification.
- Your Member Since date now displays consistently on your account page.
Security and Stability Improvements
We’ve continued investing in the security and reliability of OptMsg.
This release includes stronger protection against malicious email content, improved passkey sign-in reliability, better handling of temporary network interruptions, and numerous stability improvements throughout the app to deliver a more dependable email experience.
